YAMAHA - SG-800

The SG-800 features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a 24.75 inch scale length. The fingerboard is bound and fitted with split triangle inlays.

Electronics comprise two humbucking pickups manufactured for Yamaha, with pull/push pots that split the coils. Yamaha SG humbuckers from this era are generally voiced for a strong midrange, suitable for rock-oriented styles.
