Orville - LPS-75

Orville LPS-75 Les Paul Standard made in Japan circa 1990, serial K029355. The Orville brand was introduced by Gibson in 1988 for the Japanese domestic market and distributed by Yamano Gakki, producing Gibson-licensed instruments built in Japan.

The LPS-75 was a mid-tier model in the Orville Les Paul range and originally sold for ¥75,000. Construction follows the traditional Les Paul format with a mahogany body, carved maple top, set mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. The guitar features the standard 24.75 inch scale length, tune-o-matic bridge with stop tailpiece, and dual humbuckers controlled by independent volume and tone controls with a three-way selector switch.

Overall Condition: Fair - a few dings and scuffs on the body and head.

Repair notes: One pot replaced - both knobs non original. It has obviously had a neck repair at some point, although you cannot feel it at all under your hands.
